Students had to take the grieving dog to the teacher’s coffin as a final goodbye
A faithful dog has been waiting outside a classroom every day for his beloved human friend who recently died.
Heartwrenching video shows the grey Aspin sitting at the front of a university classroom, waiting to be greeted by Professor Carmelito Marcelo.
The four-legged friend scratches the door in desperate hope to see Carmelito.
Carmelito, 58, became friends with stray dog Buboy more than two years ago while teaching at Mabalacat City College in Pampanga, the Philippines, according to reports.

It became a routine for Buboy to come over to his classroom for food in the morning and return at lunch time for snacks.
Buboy then would stay around the campus and patrol the buildings at night.
Sadly Carmelito stopped coming to school when he suffered a stroke earlier this month and passed away on Saturday, May 18.
For the past two weeks, the loyal pooch has been coming by the classroom every morning, waiting to greet the teacher.
Buboy’s act has touched Carmelito’s students and they decided to take the dog to the church where the teacher’s body is being held.

At one point during the meeting, Buboy leaned on the edge of Carmelito’s open coffin and whimpered while looking at the body.
Buboy then got to the ground and laid in front of the casket.
Student Mark Christian Arceo, who took the pictures and videos of the moment, posted it on social media and captioned: “‘A dog is the only thing on earth that loves you more than he loves himself’ – Josh Billings.

“It’s hard to watch the dog waiting for his friend. He doesn’t know that his special companion has gone.
“Everybody has taken to help with the feeding of Buboy. The staff, students and teachers are all providing food for him.”
Staff at the Mabalacat City College said they have now planned to help arrange Buboy a new home.
