Canine’s іпсгedіЬɩe Journey: Devoted Dog Treks Over 100 Miles to Reunite with Owner Who Initially Turned Her Away

The owner of Maru, a furry little pup, decided to send her back to the kennel in Novosibirsk, where she was born, via the Trans-Siberian train. The reason behind this decision was the owner’s allergy to Maru, which made it difficult for them to continue keeping her as a pet.

Unfortunately, Maru’s attempt to travel by train did not proceed according to the plan. Instead, she managed to escape from the train and attempted to find her way back home. According to reports from witnesses and train staff, Maru utilized her paws to open the compartment door and made a run for it when the train came to a halt at a secluded station near Achinsk.

Despite their efforts, they were unable to capture her and bring her back onto the train. With lightning speed, she leaped out and dashed into the marshy Siberian woodland.

Despite the perils of navigating through the dense forests of Siberia and being conscious of the lurking threats of bears and wolves, she persevered through her journey to reach home. Even though she faced injury along the way, she remained resolute and refused to abandon her efforts.

All she could think about was reuniting with her owner, but unbeknownst to her, she had been cast out and wasn’t wanted anymore.

Upon discovering the situation, Alla Morozova, the kennel proprietor, immediately initiated a quest to locate Maru. Thankfully, following a search that spanned almost three days, Maru was discovered at an industrial complex near her previous owner’s residence. She was in a state of complete exhaustion, dehydration, and malnourishment.

Fortunately, the bears refrained from attacking her and the wolves did not devour her. She was exhausted and her physical condition was severely compromised. Her paws were injured and her foot pads were damaged, causing her to limp. Moreover, she suffered a broken muzzle, as per Morozova’s statement to The Siberian Times.

Afterward, she was brought to the kennels in Novosibirsk where she had a joyful reunion with both her mother and father.

According to Morozova, Maru could have made it back home if she wasn’t injured. She expressed her frustration towards Maru’s previous owner for not showing any sense of responsibility. Despite being the reason behind Maru’s unfortunate situation, they didn’t participate in finding her.

It brings us so much joy to hear that Maru’s health and safety have been restored. Although we haven’t finalized any plans for her future, we are confident that she will eventually find the perfect forever home that matches her needs and personality.
