Mum-of-five Vanessa Thompson caught the heartwarming moment as her little boy tried to help her calm the seven-week-old girl
An adorable big brother tried to soothe his crying baby sister by BREASTFEEDING her.
The heartwarming moment was caught on camera as the toddler tried to help his mum in calm the screaming seven-week-old.
He initially patted the little girl’s head in an attempt to calm her down, but when that didn’t work he came up with another plan.
He pulls up his white t-shirt and points his nipple at the girl.
When she doesn’t respond to that, he pushes his chest further towards her face in the hope she may ‘feed.’

Vanessa Thompson from Tonawanda, New York, said her son had seen her breastfeeding and was trying to mimic her.
She said: “My husband Vance and I have four boys who I nursed and finally just had our girl seven weeks ago which I am currently nursing.
“Our two year old son, who is very observant and mimics everything we do, was trying to console our daughter by first kissing her patting her.
When she doesn’t respond to that, he pushes his chest further towards her face in the hope she may ‘feed’
“Then, seeing that wasn’t working, he attempted to nurse/breastfeed her himself.
“This goes to show that everything you do is being watched by your kids well at least in the Thompson household.”
Vanessa shared the cute video on Facebook on Monday, where it has now been seen more than 5million times.
