Dwayne Johnson has stunned his fans with a snap of his extraordinarily muscly legs.

The Rock, 49, is known for his bulging biceps and solid stomach, but that still didn’t stop fans from being shocked at the definition he’s achieved thanks to “leg day”.

The wrestler-turned-actor appeared hard at work as he hit the gym before sharing an action shot from beside a weights bench.

He showed off his sculpted legs with the veins popping in his short shorts and sweat-drenched black bull shirt.

He captioned the image on Instagram: “Bull mana. Completely smashed our leg training last night.

“Been very pleased (though not satisfied) with my progress in the gym, constantly fine tuning my diet and especially overlaying a wiser approach to work/life balance and mindfulness.

“S**t is hard to do, with a million people & things pulling at you every day – I get it, I live it and I understand.”

He continued: “Do your best to block out the noise and stay focused on the goals and initiatives. Make your goals a healthy obsession and then apply the strategy of consistent, daily hard work.

“Slow and steady always wins the long game race.”

He signed off by telling his 275 million followers: “Have a productive week.”

Over 5.6 million people have liked his post so far with many also leaving comments of appreciation.

The 6ft 5 star often talks about mental health and grief, and is known to show off his softer side in adorable videos with his little girls.

He admits that “being a father is the greatest job I have ever had and the greatest job I will ever have”.

He has previously starred in films including Jumanji, The Tooth Fairy and the Fast and Furious franchise.

He currently has a number of upcoming film projects he is involved with, including the action comedy Red Notice. The film is in post-production and is scheduled to be released next month.
