Even the American badass The Undertaker rode his American chopper bikes to the ring. But those were supposed to go back to their respective owner’s garages whom they were rented from after the show ended. Well, the case for John Cena is different as he drives a plethora of cars straight back into his own garage.

Cena grew up in the 80s in West Newberry, Massachusetts and was fixated over the ‘oh so muscular!’ cars, the Pontiacs, Dodges, Camaros, Mustangs. Cena along with his friends hung out working on their cars and noticed how the cool kids drove faster cars.

He learned how to drive a four-wheeler driving the 1984 Cadillac Coupe Deville which was also the first car he bought, he was 14 then. The car got seized up just before he got his license so Cena went ahead and bought a 1970 Chevy Nova. After graduating John supported his brief bodybuilding career by driving Limousines part time.

In 1999 when Cena decided to hit the roads to pursue his wrestling career he lived out of his car, a 1991 Lincoln Continental. He got into the wrestling business fast and got famous faster. Cena bought a 1989 Jeep Wrangler as soon as he signed his first WWE contract.
As he got popular and the money started flowing in, John Cena started fulfilling his passion of collecting the fine rides. Cena’s childhood affection for muscle cars has stuck with him since. As far as his cars are concerned, the four-time United States Champion is a true patriot indeed, almost all of his cars are classics made in America.

When questioned about his vintage preference in cars, Cena responded in an interview :
“They always look at the car, and that’s why I dig that era, the designs were so crazy”
Now residing in Tampa, Florida, John Cena claims his cars collection has outgrown his garage space in his new mansion.

A WWE wrestler spends the majority of their time on the road travelling from city to city. John Cena enjoys first class travel privileges from the WWE. However, Cena loved driving his manual 1971 AMC Hornet SC/360 on a daily basis, he had that Hornet for about 3 years.

Cena pays homage to a lot of cars with NASCAR heritage. He has a 1969 Dodge Daytona and a 1970 Plymouth Superbird (remember the blue car ‘King’ in CARS animated movie?). John’s favourite old cars have to be his Pontiacs.
“I’m a big Pontiac GTO fan, specifically the Judge package that Pontiac offered in ’69, ’70, and ’71.”
He owns all those models: The ’69 Carousel Red Pontiac GTO Judge, a ’70 Cardinal Red Pontiac GTO Judge, and a ’71 Black Pontiac GTO Judge. In fact, the 1970 GTO was the first muscle car that Cena purchased.

Also residing in his garage are modern beasts, 2006 Ford GT, 2007 Dodge Super Bee and 2007 Parnelli Jones Saleen Mustang. Although the design became subtle and more mainstream for today’s generation, Cena was happy that the psychology for what was underneath the hood has remained the same.

In 2009 John heard about a new Corvette that was about to launch, he admitted to being an anti-Corvette guy. But also admitted that he had to have his hands on the 2009 Corvette ZR1. He has since stated that he absolutely enjoys it. Cena’s was the 73rd ZR1 made and delivered.

He was so blown away by the car that he bought another Corvette and had it customised into the InCENArator.

In 2013 the InCENArator opened up for the Gumball 3000 supercar rally. Built by Parker Brothers Concepts the InCENArator is a crazy futuristic designed car, you have to enter through the roof glass and it has a massive inbuilt 8 flame throwers!

His love for cars and celebrity status landed Cena on ABC’s “Fast Cars and Superstars: The Gilette Young Guns Celebrity Race,” reality show. Cena made it to the third and final round of the series and finished 3rd among 12 celebrities. Cena was also the pace car driver at Daytona 500 in 2016.

Even in the WWE John Cena made a grand entrance driving a Ford Mustang into Ford Fields arena at Wrestlemania 23.
He also had a couple a parking lot brawls in his WWE career. And as strange it may seem John Cena had once destroyed JBL’s limousine with the help of Cryme Time and had also stolen Alberto Del Rio’s Ferrari at the Night of Champions.

In his 2nd feature film 12 rounds, Cena played a New Orleans cop and reportedly had fun driving a Camaro, taking on the bad guys.
