WWE Superstar The Rock recently shared a really touching anecdote on social media while having a tearful conversation with a fan.
Fans reacted negatively to The Great One’s return to WWE at the beginning of this year because they thought he was stealing Cody Rhodes’ position for WrestleMania XL. But the renowned superstar accepted it with grace and went on to become The Final Boss, thoroughly owning the heel turn.
The Rock is one of the most charitable public persons in the world, thus his WWE persona is very different from his real life persona. The Final Boss recently posted a video of himself giving a fan a truck and $100,000 while having a heartfelt conversation with a parent and kid on his X social media account.
The Great One broke down in tears as he spoke about his late father, Rocky Johnson, on the video and expressed how much he missed him.
I simply miss my dad sometimes. My old guy was an original, therefore he was all about that cash. I wish I could give him my truck or give him a little cash. Ricardo, Isaiah’s father, reminded me of my old man the moment I met him. A diligent worker who experienced hardships, he always made an effort to provide for his family. Like Isaiah’s dad, my dad also started a cleaning business. Ricardo wrote, “And like my dad back then, all he needed was a truck for all his supplies and to get to and from work.”
The Rock continued, saying:
“I donated my own automobile to Ricardo. I handed Ricardo a few bucks. I believe that this particular moment with Ricardo gave me the impression that my father was still with me and that I could bring him joy. made me feel sad. My tears make me start to whisper. I love you, Ricardo and Isaiah! I adore your relationship as father and son. Look out for one another. Remain hopeful. I long for my elderly man.”
