A mother dog is filmed in a tug-of-war with a child as she desperately tries to protect her newborn puppy from being removed from her watchful eye.
During the video, the child, from Bihar, India, is spotted trying to excitedly run away with the little canine but the dog’s mother is less than pleased and confronts the situation.
Oblivious to the repercussions of their actions, the child continues to run away with the puppy but is each time confronted by the puppy’s disgruntled mother.

The mother dog then continues to lock her jaws around her puppy and the child’s desperate attempts to flee with the pup are sabotaged each time.
Desperate to play with the puppy the child heads back to the puppy’s corner and gets hold on the little creature once more
Refusing to be deterred, the child keeps hold of the puppy and the tug-of-war between mother dog and child continues
