Babies would suffer if their mothers didn’t take care of them! Because many of us can relate to that kind of love and devotion, witnessing it in real life warms our hearts. Throughout this story, a mother demonstrates how far she will go to protect her children.
A dog rescue volunteer, Karlee, is looking for puppies she heard about. According to her, the cubs took shelter under a pile of firewood on Jeju Island, South Korea.
The situation worsened when residents discovered that the wooden remains would be seized and destroyed. Due to the large territory, finding the cubs would require a team of people. Every time the team arrived at the site, they set traps and took out food and drink.
Finding the cubs and protecting them were the main objectives. By using food and water, Karlee was able to get them away from the huge woodpile and into her care. Every day, during lunchtime and after work, she checked to see if the cubs had been captured.
It usually takes three to four days for babies to emerge. The initial reaction was terror, but they were eventually tempted to seek safety. Although the first phase of the mission had been completed, there was still work to be done.
This age group of puppies was not alone. There was no information on how the two had reached their mother, who lived nearby.
There is no way to know how far the mother dog traveled in her daily search for food or resources. It was her daily routine to return to the
site to look for her mother. In the end, they were able to see her for the first time after searching for a few days.
After meeting the mother for the first time, efforts to save her took a long time. The street smart mothernte was incredibly cautious around humans and did not approach them.
Even when they bribed her with gifts and food, she refused. The situation was serious, and since the island was so distant, there were no traditional means of trapping it.
While loading the puppies into the back of a truck, Karlee’s parents took them home.
In the end, the mom dog decided to chase the truck to Karlee’s house and keep it in sight at all times.
The mother did not feel comfortable moving into the house for a few weeks after that. Everything was fine once she did it.
