The truth is clear: WWE гeасtѕ to Hollywood report criticizing The Rock’s on-set behavior, сɩаіmіпɡ he urinated in a water bottle, made co-stars wait up to EIGHT hours and was late to WrestleMania

WWE has dismissed a report that claimed The Rock was late for his WrestleMania showing.

‘The Great One’, real name Dwayne Johnson, enjoyed a four-month-long run in the company at the start of this year after returning in January to play a part in the WWE Championship story.

Returning as a heel, he aligned with real-life cousin Roman Reigns to take on Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins in the main event of night one of WrestleMania, emerging victorious to set up the main event of night two.

That match saw Rhodes defeat Reigns for his WWE Title, before The Rock revealed he would be leaving WWE again to continue his career in Hollywood.

Reports surfaced on Tuesday suggesting that Johnson was three hours late for the match on night one of the event, but WWE have now responded, with the actor also facing a number of other allegations.

He faces allegations that he urinated in bottles on set, making crew members ‘uncomfortable’

Chris Legentil, Head of WWE’s Global Communications and Talent Relations, said: ‘Dwayne was not only on time for WrestleMania, he was hours early to help with rehearsal and a pleasure to work with throughout the entire run.’

The report from The Wrap, meanwhile, also claimed the 51-year-old has shown up on set of his new film ‘Red One’ up to eight hours late, costing the film an extra £40million.

It has also been claimed that Johnson would often urinate in water bottles to save time and ask his PA or team to dispose of it, which crew members were ‘upset’ with.

Another claim was that the actor would also miss entire days of filming, causing the dramatic increase to the budget.

It is suggested in the report that Johnson has had a lack of professionalism, while it was also claimed that he has on occasion left over 100 crew members waiting ‘for no reason’.

‘It was a f***ing disaster,’ one insider told The Wrap, while another said: ‘Dwayne truly doesn’t give a f***.’

A spokesperson for Amazon MGM – who are the film studio behind the film – responded with a firm denial to the allegations in the report.

The Rock also faces allegations that £50million to be added to the budget of Red One

The studio representative told The Wrap: ‘Dwayne Johnson and [producer] Seven Bucks have been incredible partners on Red One—a film that audiences of all ages are going to love this holiday season.

‘Our testing has been very strong — the reaction from CinemaCon speaks for itself — and we couldn’t have made it without Dwayne’s constant work and support. Any reporting that implies that we got to this point with him showing up seven-eight hours late to set is both ridiculous and false.’

Meanwhile another insider close to Amazon MGM said that the budget never actually veered far from the figure it was greenlit at.

The source told The Wrap: ‘It is completely normal for there to be budget fluctuations within 15 per cent of the target, which is exactly what we experienced.’
